Remove, reduce, expire
'How to get rid of violation points' is one of the most-typed questions in this niche — and it is asked in the old system's language. Under the Account Health Rating there is no delete button. There are four real mechanisms, and each violation you hold matches a different one.
For correctable violations, acting inside the window printed on the ticket — 12 to 72 hours — means TikTok does not take the enforcement attached to the violation. This is the cleanest removal that exists, and the easiest to miss, because beginners read '30-day appeal window' somewhere and relax. Check your ticket's own deadline first.
If the violation is an error that matches a published ground — duplicate enforcement, TikTok's miscategorization, a logistics error with proof, genuine documents for a flagged product — appeal it. First appeal within 30 days of notification; if rejected, a second within 15 days, with new evidence. A successful appeal removes the enforcement and returns the points — and returned points do not follow the normal 180-day rule.
Passing the policy quiz tagged to a violation earns points back immediately. It does not erase the record, but the score is what enforces — and the quiz is the only lever measured in minutes.
Every deduction expires 180 days after it landed. What remains is to not land a new one: frequency is part of how TikTok sizes deductions, so a clean six months both expires the old cost and lowers the price of any future mistake. Sellers who 'wait it out' while repeating the behavior never actually wait anything out.
No one outside TikTok can edit your violation records or your score. Services can help you prepare an appeal — the same appeal you can file yourself from the Shop Health page. Judge any 'removal guarantee' accordingly: TikTok's decisions are, in its own words, at its sole discretion.
The points reset; the record is your history, and frequency feeds future deductions. Treat the reset as relief, not amnesia.
The checker above is free and always will be. The kit is the depth: the letters, the plan, and the sheets, in one place, stamped with the rules as checked October 22, 2026.
